Seal Church Of England Primary School

Zambra Way Entrance Closed

The Zambra Way entrance to the school will be closed w/c 1st June - please use the rear entrance via Highlands Park and Ash Platt Road

There will be no access by car or on foot via the main Zambra Way entrance to the school during the first week back after half term. Please can parents bring the returning children to the back entrance via Highlands Park and Ash Platt Road at the specified time for their class group. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Start of the Day

Due to the limited access we will be using a staggered drop-off times:

8:45am Year 6 and Keyworkers
9:00am Year 1
9:15am Year R
9:30am Nursery

At the start of the school day, no parents will be allowed on site and we ask that you drop your child/ren at the rear gate. Pupils will be met at the school field gate by a member of staff and will be asked to use hand gel. They will then assemble on the school field at two metre intervals. Once all pupils have arrived the class teacher and TA will lead the pupils into their classroom.

Whilst waiting to drop-off your children please observe the 2 metre rule outside this gate.

Only one parent should accompany their child/ren to school and where possible leave siblings at home. There will be a one-way system and other measures in place at drop off and on collection so please help us make this as quick and easy as possible by carefully reading the signage.

End of the Day

We will be running a staggered pick-up process to collect the children from school:

Reception to be collected at 3pm,
Yr1 & Keyworker Provision at 3:15pm
Yr6 3:30pm

If you have children who fall into both categories, please pick up at the time of the oldest child.

Please come to the back gate by queueing at 2 metre intervals. Once you arrive at the gate, your child/ren will be brought to you. This is a similar procedure to the Zambra Way road closure earlier this academic year.
