World Book Day!

8:45 time for our zoom call to catch up with each other and go through the day's learning

9:00 Choose an energetic activity from your year group or practise standing on one leg like the little rat in our maths story!  Time yourself and see how long you can stand on each leg.

Reading

Because it's World Book Day choose your favourite book (or books) and either read it yourself or ask an adult to read it to you.  I wonder... what is your favourite book?  I have so many that it is hard to choose.  Today is all about loving books and enjoying reading.

Getting ready for maths

Use real or fake money to make these amounts. Try and make them with the smallest amount of coins you can. For example 12p - I can make it with only 2 coins: a 10p and a 2p.

Maths

We are going to go on with The Great Pet Sale today.  Collect the coins you got ready yesterday and/or your 100 square and we will continue adding on more and more coins as the story goes on.

Literacy

Story time with Mrs Smith! Watch the video and listen to a different version of a well known story - 'Little Red Reading Hood!'
