This is an experience based around Geography of the local area. We are going to be creating a video, with instructions to tell people how to spend a day in Seal. We will be focusing on time order adverbs, directional language and imperative verbs to make sure that our instructions are clear. We will be using computers to write, save, retrieve and print our instructions. 

We started off our experience by learning about Seal Village. 

We wrote questions for our David, a Seal expert. 

Then, he came in to talk to us about Seal and we asked him our questions. 

We then used our knowledge of Seal to write about what has changed over time. Some of us even thought about why these changes have happened. 

Next, we learnt about man-made and natural landmarks in Seal.

After, we learnt about features of instructions, so that we could write brilliant instructions. 

This included number points, titles, time order adverbs, directional language and imperative verbs. 

We used what we learnt to write some instructions to tell people how to get from the toilet to our classroom.
