Please take part in the relevant speed sound lesson:

Set 1 lesson (red and green groups)




Set 2 lessons (purple, pink and orange groups)




Set 3 lessons (yellow, blue and grey groups)





Please email your teacher to find out which group your child is in if

you are not sure.


If you are in Read, Write Inc, Oxford Owl have made available the

e-books relevant to your RWI level. You will need to create a login

first so please visit:


Once you have confirmed your login on your email it will direct you to

a page that says “Find a book” Please click on that and then follow

the instructions below.


Click on e-books and find your relevant book colour to read. Please

read the same book 3 times across 3 days.

1st day – read to decode the words and make sure you can read

every word in the book.


2nd day – read the book again and try to read with fluency and



3rd day – read the book again and answer the comprehension

questions at the end.


If you are in guided reading, please read chapters 13 and 14 of

George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl and answer the

questions in full sentences.  We look forward to reading your answers.

We are starting a new mini English experience today so please watch

the video tutorial and complete the tasks:





For the lesson you will need:


  • Access to google (you may want to supervise your child doing
  • this depending on your parental restrictions on your home
  • internet)
  • You might want to use the powerpoint for today’s lesson that
  • can be found on the class website

A adult could record your definitions for you but remember we are

trying to work on our writing this week.


Something a little harder...


Have a look through books that you have at home, can you find any

example of lists in them?

Something a little harder...


Make your own “Who am I” game and play with someone else in

your house. You could even make little cards with drawings of

mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish and birds on them and

when you have described an animal type the person you are playing

with has to choose the correct animal type.
