English
LO: To remember different literary devices (remembering/understanding) SC1: I can recall the different literary devices SC2: I can identify where they have been used in a text SC3: I can write an example for each literary device
Please watch the video tutorial and complete the tasks set (there is no need to copy down the examples we find together in the tutorial only the ones where the children look for their own examples)
For the lesson you will need:
Something a little easier
You could underline or highlight the examples in the story rather than writing them down or you could cut out the examples and stick them in your book.
Something a little harder
You could find a few more examples from Gruffalo. You could come up with your own examples that you might then use when you write your retelling of the story. |
