LO: To recognise where commas have been used in a list (understanding)

SC1: I can identify where commas have been used in a list

SC2: I can identify where commas have been used for a different purpose

SC3: I can add in where commas should go in a list

Please watch the video and complete the tasks set:

For the lesson you will need:

  • A copy of the powerpoint that you can find on the class home page

Something a littler easier:

You could print off the slides of the slide show that have the animal

information on and highlight where commas have been used for a list

Something a little harder:

Can you turn my lists on the activity sheet into more detailed lists by using expanded noun phrases. E.g: For my birthday I would like a new mascara could become For my birthday I would like a new black, volumising mascara.
