Perspective writing
Well done to both Harley and Evie for their detailed writing from the lighthouse keeper's perspective. I especially liked the adventurous vocabulary they used including 'terror-stricken', 'to my horror' and 'striking a match...'
A great piece of writing from the lighthouse keeper's perspective Kathleen-I really like how he 'thumped up the stairs' and also your last sentence because it was emotive.
Well done Thomas for your brilliant writing. I especially liked how you described your tools as 'precious' and how he 'rejoiced.'
Great writing from the lighthouse keeper's perspective Ollie, I really liked your use of 'a thousand lights guiding...'
Fantastic writing Jamie from the lighthouse keeper's perspective. I loved how 'the darkness covered the lighthouse like a blanket' and also the use of 'Tightly clutching...' to start a sentence. Well done.
Well done Jess for a detail piece of writing from the lighthouse keeper's perspective. My favourite sentence was 'Everything plunged into darkness and the world fell silent.'
Great writing Sky, I especially like your one word sentences at the beginning, because it really drew me into the writing.
Reflections and work based on challenge 1
Well done Evie for reflecting on how your 'challenge one' is progressing. I really liked how you have included all the dishes you have learnt to make and how you have set yourself a next step target. Great presentation too.
Have a look at Poppy's excellent art work in her PowerPoint based on her challenge 1.
Newspaper reports
Well done Evie, for your detailed newspaper report. What a great use of the word manoeuvred, I also liked the detailed quote from Mrs Smith.
Well done Jess for your great newspaper report. I really liked how you have used alliteration in your headline and also how you have included two quotes.
What a fantastic newspaper article Ollie-I really liked the headline, the quote from Mr Stuart and how he was full of emotion. Well done.
Well done Tylor-Jay for a fantastic newspaper article. I loved how the villagers were celebrating the end of the corona virus and great headline too.
