Seal Church Of England Primary School

Forest School

Forest School gives all learners the opportunity to develop skills such as team work, independence, perseverance and resilience in a safe outdoor environment.

We are very lucky here at Seal to have two Forest school leaders, two forest schools sites, a Forest school for the Nurture group and an KS2 after school club!

This gives all children from Reception up to Year 5 the chance to participate in forest school.  This compliments their curricular learning, whilst developing their holistic needs.

Children get the chance to learn about further topics such as nature, recycling, the natural environment, bush craft and den building.  Each term the children get to input what they would like to learn through each experience we have.

Please note that children must have a suitable change of clothing, including full waterproofs, wellington boots, layers of warm clothing, gloves, etc all year round.
