English LO: To show my understanding of using my plan to inform my writing. SC1: I can check over my plan. SC2: I can use my plan to make my poster. SC3: I can reflect on my learning.
Today you are going to make your poster using your plan to help you!
TOP TIPS: - Draw/ write the poster in pencil first so that you can rub parts out if needed. - Make sure you get all of the research you have done.
If you would like a step-by-step modelling video then please watch my example below:
Step 1: Check over your plan (familiarise) Step 2: Collect the pencils, materials you need and your research! Step 3: Write your title ( in pencil first) Step 4: Draw/make/print your plant image and put it where you have planned. Step 5: Add your subtitles in neat cursive writing at the correct place on the flower (if you are using arrows please use a ruler.) Step 6: Add the mini paragraphs under the subheadings explaining the purpose of that part of the plant. Step 7: Add colour and detail!
A little easier if: You follow my step by step video.
A little harder if: You explain some links between parts of the plants, similarities and differences.
Important message! If you would like to see some finished examples, please see below the document called ‘ examples of finished posters.’
Enjoy- we look forward to seeing them!
