Today in English is about reflective journaling and thinking about our poetry over the past few days. Follow the link to see how I have reflected on my poetry writing!

Make sure you complete 2 studio sessions and 2 sound checks before going on the garage. Feel free to challenge me!

11:30 – 12:15

LO: To be able to use fractions to compare
SC1: I can identify how to find a fraction of an amount
SC2: I can identify the parts of a fraction
SC3: I can compare two fractions of amounts

For this lesson, we are going to use money to compare fractions of amounts. Each question is would you rather question where there are fractions of amounts that you will need to find fractions of to see which would be the best to have. 

Click on the link for a video on how to understand and answer the questions. I will be using manipulatives (as always) to try and help my understanding of the question and help me answer. I suggest if you find this difficult then you do the same.

I have attached chilli challenges, do the best you can. Try and pick out the challenge that is best for you.

For the afternoon, I would like to draw your picture from the view from your window. Use the techniques we have used during the course of the week. If you would like to review any of the techniques then please look back through the week. 

PLease send me your final pieces so I can upload them onto the website and send them to Mrs Mitchell to show her your great efforts. 

2:00- 2:30

Exercise – e.g. mindfulness yoga, fresh air in the garden, run up and down the stairs seeing if you can get faster every time!


Continue with your picture, persevere and try to make it the best you can.
