English LO: To be able to show my understanding of inverted commas For this lesson today, I would like you to use all you have learned to finish off the story of Tuesday. David Weisner finishes with these two photos I would like you to continue the story of the flying pigs.
Let your imagination run and see what it comes up with, all I am asking is that any dialogue you are using you punctuate correctly. It does not need to be a long piece of writing either, try to make it as good as you can. There is a scribble at the end, this is what happens when you take your eye off a 1 year old with a pen! |

Maths LO: To be able to show my understand of addition and subtraction Today we are going to use what you have researched yesterday with some challenges. The challenges are below. Have a go using the formal written methods we have learned or the pictorial if you find that easier and work through the challenges in the time you have. Challenge 1 If you had a budget of £1500 how much change would you get from all of the costs. Challenge 2 If the presents you wanted all had £8.89 off (if they could) how much change would you get from your budget? Challenge 3 If your food had 37p off for every item, how much change would you get from your budget then? Challenge 4 If your decorations were half price how much change would you get from your budget? Have a go at those challenges, have a look at my challenge 1 to help you set it out. |
