During this experience, the children were learning about diary writing, fronted adverbials and the lifestyle and invasions of the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. The children's outcome was to write a diary entry as either a Briton, Viking or Anglo-Saxon from many perspectives. The children have typed up their diary entries, and they are currently in the process of being made into a published book of diaries.

We took part in a Viking workshop, in which we spent the day learning about what the life of a Viking was like! 

Take home task:

We have had many wonderful take-home tasks be completed. Te children have created a blurb and a front cover for our book of diaries, the winner is having their front cover and blurb on the published book.
