In this English and History experience the children will be learning about The Titanic. They will focus on the causes and consequences of the sinking. Children will focus on how to use apostrophes for contraction and possession. The outcome will be to write a narrative and the best will be sent to The Titanic Museum, Belfast.

Our hook was a Titanic day. We dressed as if we were boarding The Titanic. Throughout the day, we participated in different activities, such as chess and ballroom dancing. 

We learnt all about The Titanic's place in history and created a human timeline. 

We then focused on our expert text and sequenced the story. We then wrote our version of the story.
