FINAL CALLS: Today is the last day for submitting your KS2 wellbeing posters. These must be emailed to me before 5pm if your child's work is to be showcased!


IMPORTANT – Foxes zoom will now be at 11:00 – 11:15. Please join the session at this time and then continue with the timetable. You may want to start Guided Reading Early and have your break before the zoom call.

Oxford Owl have made available the e-books relevant to your RWI level. You will need to create a login first so please visit:

Once you have confirmed your login on your email it will direct you to a page that says “Find a book” Please click on that and then follow the instructions below.

Click on e-books and find your relevant book colour to read. (the colour of your home reading books) Please read the same book 3 times.

1st day – read to decode the words and make sure you can read every word in the book.

2nd day – read the book again and try to read with fluency and expression.

3rd day – read the book again and answer the comprehension questions at the end.

Today we are editing and revising our draft poems. I have made two videos depending on the type of poem you are writing, that you need to follow. At different times I will say to pause the video and carry out the editing task that I have explained and modelled.

You will have the next two art lessons to make your final art piece of your happy place, using all the skills we have learnt within tearing and folding, from using your plan to help you.


Please follow the steps below:


1) Check over your plan and make sure there is nothing you need to add.

2) Check over your plan and make sure that you have all the skills (tearing small, tearing large, origami and folding for springs)

3) Get your materials (for example, paper, glue and colours)

4) Start with the background and start making your art!



Take your time as you have two afternoons on it. I look forward to seeing your art piece of your happy place that matches your poem.
