Maths LO: To be able to show my understanding of perimeter For this lesson we are going to be continuing with learning about the perimeter. Last lesson we learned that finding the perimeter is measuring around the outside of a shape. I have uploaded a video for you to have a look at explaining how to go through the lesson for today and how to work it out.
Things to remember
Have a look at the worked example as well to help you if you need it. |

Experience LO: To be able to know about the volume of sound We are moving, only for today, away from an experiment. Although we are doing an investigation into sound. Today we are going to be looking at how sound waves are recorded and how they change with the sound that is made. I have included a video to help you with the science behind sound waves and introduce the investigation.
For this investigation, I would like you to go round your house and find as many things in your house that make noise. However, once you have found something that makes noise, I would like you to think about the sound wave that that noise makes. I have included an example to help you. How many different examples can you find. Can you find an example of a high pitch low volume sound? What would that look like? Can you find an example of a low pitch low volume sound? What would that look like? Find as many different examples as you can.
