I hope you are all keeping safe and well during this second National Lockdown.
Please find information on Zones of Regulation and exercises below to help your child channel any excess energy or to get their energy going ready for Home learning!
The Zones of Regulation are a quick 'How are you feeling?' check in technique, usually done in the morning and afternoon or as needed.
There are four Zones:
Green = Happy and calm
Blue= Tired, low energy, nervous, worried, sad
Yellow = silly, excited, getting annoyed or frustrated or upset
Red = Angry and upset
The exercises provided aim to help you child get back to Green and avoid getting to Red (although, if on Red, often some time out and space is needed before attempting the Yellow exercises).
