Seal vs. Dunton Green - League Match
Seal vs St Johns - Friendly

Our most recent games were against Dunton Green and St Johns. We played at Knole Academy School on the 3G pitch. First, we faced Dunton Green and it probably wa a match we should have won, but at the end of the 20 minutes a goal was conceded. Despite the loss we had the majority of the chances. We had 6 chances whilst Dunton Green only had 3. Our first chance came when a corner ball from Will Read was narrowly missed by Murray Todd - just wide of the post. Another, when Arren Dougherty was sent low into the right corner but could not defeat the post. The last big chance of the match came from some great football by Jamie Jones and Freddie Watling. A ball from the later, sped in from the right with Jamie skimming the outside of the post on the way past. It ended a disappointing 1:0 to Dunton Green, although we should have won comfortably.

The second of the two matches, came with a win, although it was a friendly. The overall score came to 3:2. St Johns scored first with a powerful shot placed in the top right corner. This fired up the Seal team and the chances started to come again. The hard work paid off as a chance was finally converted when Murray Todd was crossed to from Harvey Merritt: it bobbled about in the box until Murray swept the ball into the bottom left corner with a perfectly timed half-volley. Soon after, another goal came from George Hudson; set up by Harely Russell. A simple pass was played into the box with great precision, leaving the ball for George to only get a foot on it. Later, Haralds Muiznieks took a shot just outside the box, skimming the crossbar, an unlucky effort. Right before half time, A superb defensive decision by Kobi Whitehead, when after a shot, the keeper couldn't reach, slid himself into the path of it just before it went in.

Our last goal of the game came from Jamie Jones, lovely interplay by kobi, George and Jamie to create an easy ball into the box. St Johns drew back into defence and scored a lovely counter attack ball to make it close at the end.
