During this experience, the children will be learning about the mountains, lakes and rivers within the UK. They are going to be learning persuasive features such as emotive language and strong personal statements, to create a persuasive piece of writing to influence others to stay in the UK for holidays. The geography learning will be based on physical features of the UK including National Parks.

Hook:

We went for a wonderful walk up the Kemsing Hill. We spoke about how we felt at the top of the hill and what features we could see in the distance that could potentially attract people to our local area. We also reflected upon our character and how it developed throughout the walk.
