During this first term in Nursery, we have been learning about Autumn and the changes that it brings. We observed how the leaves turned red, yellow and brown and fell from the trees. We explored, played and counted with conkers, acorns, pinecones and berries. We were surprised to know that some animals, like hedgehogs, hibernate and some others, like squirrels, spend Autumn hiding nuts and eating them! 

We celebrated Harvest making a scarecrow with hey and an old school uniform. We called him Sausage the Scarecrow. 

Our little experience outcome was to think and create a checklist of 'Autumn things' we might see around school. And, once we had the checklist finished, we had a walk around the village to find all the elements. It was good fun!
