Thankful Thursday

9:00 am Time for our zoom call to catch up with each other and go through the days learning.

Tell someone one thing you are thankful for.

I am thankful for all the fun in the snow we have had!   

Getting ready for learning:

Olly and Charlie: toe to heel walking. 




  1. RWI reading. This week you are going to read the SAME e-book every day.

               Today – Read your book with lots of expression.

              Rex : Set 2  igh (fly high) 

             Charlie and Olly:  set 3 i -e (nice smile)

Getting ready for maths

R:  Count in 10’s to 100.  Hit the Button Number Bonds Addition within 20

C:  Count backwards from 20.  Make some great 7’s  Hit the Button

O:  With the cold and snow, some of our temperatures are below 0. Count backwards from 10 to -10!   (a bit of help 1, 0, -1, )-   

What is colder:  -3  or -7?           0 or -1?

Today we are going to use our knowledge of centimetres (cm) to make a sculpture.

SC1)  I can follow instructions carefully.

SC2)  I can measure accurately using my ruler

SC 3) I can record my measurement in centimetres (cm)

Snack, walk outside, choosing such as Lego or drawing or colouring in.

I’ve got butterflies in my tummy!

A. I’m feeling a little nervous or excited.
