Today we are looking at planning our poster. Please watch the following video which recaps what we did yesterday and explains todays’ tasks.

Please watch this video if you would like a step-by-step guide of how to write your plan:

The steps are as follows:

1) Plan your title and say why it is effective.

2) Plan your image and say why it is effective.

3) Plan your subheadings and say why it is effective.

A little easier if…

You follow the video steps.

A little harder if…

You think more about the effect on the reader and answer the extension.

Extension:

Justify whether the following would be effective within your poster and why/why not?

- Rhetorical questions

- Rule of three

- Similes

Remember a poster is to provide information in an engaging/eye-catching way/
