Charlie: We want to know the facts that make up 20 as quickly as we can.

So today share out the pieces of paper with your adult and yourself.  The game is to say the 2 numbers which make 20.

  1.  C says a number e.g., 2
  2. Your adult says 18 and you check on your paper if they are right. Yes 2 + 18 = 20
  3. Your adult says a number from their paper e.g., 10
  4. You say the answer: 10 and your adult checks if you are right. Yes 10 +10 = 20
  5. Keep playing until you have used all the cards, then swop the cards and carry on.
  6. You might want to make a 20 frame to help find the answers if you are not sure.
