Must English LO: TO be able to use expanded prepositional phrases. (KNOW- Identify) SC1: I can define a prepositional phrase. SC2: I can recognise the impact of prepositional phrases. SC3: I can use prepositional phrases to add detail to my writing. Today, we look at how the use of prepositions and prepositional phrases will enhance our narrative writing.
Task 1- Identify the preposition. This should just be revision. Task 2- Explain why the two examples are and are not prepositional phrases using the information gained on the previous slides. Task 3 (main task)- Rewriting an extract from our new novel using your knowledge of prepositional phrases. This task is differentiated. Supporting resource- 25.02.2021 English prepositions Task 4- Sorting the phrases to identify the expanded noun phrases and prepositional phrases. Have a look through, if you would like help with a level or a book to read a day then please email me and I will help. OR LO: To be able to use key information and make inferences and predictions. SC1: I can recognise key information within the text. SC2: I can use the text I have read to make inferences. SC3: I can make my own plausible predictions based on what I’ve read.

Must Maths LO: To be able to show my knowledge of angles For this lesson we are going to be looking at the angles that we have learned and estimate their size using the information we already know. Have a look at the video to explain the learning for today and the tasks.
