Break time/snack time

11:00 – 11:30

Make sure you complete 2 studio sessions and 2 sound checks before going on the garage. Feel free to challenge me!

11:30 – 12:15

LO: To be able to understand time in 12 hour
SC1: I can understand what is meant by 12 hour time
SC2: I can identify the hands of a clock and their role in telling time
SC3: I can understand the difference between analog and digital

For this lesson we are going to move onto 24 hour time. I have uploaded a video explaining the concept and walking through a couple of questions that you will get.

Key information

  • To convert between 12 hour clock and 24 hour clock you add 12 to the hours only if it is PM.
I.e. 4:30 PM adding 12 to the hours becomes 16:30

  • If the time is AM then you add a 0 before the time and take off the AM
I.e. 7:45 AM adding a 0 at the beginning and getting rid of the AM becomes 07:45

Have a look at the chilli challenges below, as always try your best and do move into a different chilli challenge if you need to.

Exercise – e.g. mindfulness yoga, fresh air in the garden, run up and down the stairs seeing if you can get faster every time!

We are continuing on with our class reader in the afternoons. However, this week Mr Cook is going to be reading you the story. I have attached the pdf of the book as well as the link to hear Mr Cook read.

After, I would like you to spend time reading your own book. Do it in your bedroom, in the garden or even in the kitchen sink. So long as you are reading.
