The task for today is for you to turn your plan into a script.

I have put up a checklist below to help you with the features and an example as well to look at. Good luck

 

Checklist

  • Set the scene (who are the characters/where is it set/how does the story begin)

  • Name in the margin with a colon

  • No speech marks

  • No said/says

  • Stage directions for all movements/tones of voice in the present tense

SC1: I consider the effect of my puppet
SC2: I can use appropriate materials
SC3: I can evaluate my puppet

For this task, I would like you to design and make your puppey/puppets. You need to think about what it needs to look like to fit into your story, and what resources you have available. I am sure that with your research you were able to find some amazing puppets, but are they practical for the purpose you want them for? 

Once you have designed your puppet/puppets I would like you to make them. Consider how you can use the materials you have to make the best puppet possible. 

 

Once you have made your puppet I would like you to evaluate them/it. How did it go? Did it turn out as you wanted? If you had the chance to do it again how would you do it differently? What went well? Do you think it will fit the purpose you want it for?
