Maths

LO: To be able to know how to find lines of symmetry
SC1: I can identify what symmetry means
SC2: I can understand that shapes can have more than 1 line of symmetry
SC3: I can use manipulatives to help me.

Today we are going to continue our work with symmetry, but move away from regular shapes and finding their lines of symmetry within the shapes themselves.

Today we are finishing off a shape, so that it is symmetrical. We have one half and we need to use symmetry to make sure that we finish it properly.

If you would like a recap on symmetry then please have a look at the video in the link.
