3 D shapes

Well done for the Cylinders you found.

Today's 3D shape is ...... a cube.

SC1) I can define what a cube is

SC2) I can find cubes in a real-life setting

SC3) I can make a cube using Lego

Watch the clip about 3D shapes and then go on a cube hunt. To watch it, I think you will need to copy and paste the address to a search engine.

I found these in my house:

Next make a cube with Lego.

Has your Lego cube 6 faces?  Can you show the faces to someone?

Are all the faces exactly the same?

I would love to see your cubes – I’ll have a go too!

R:  to, no, go, into, the, I

Charlie: dark, start, sharp, that, put, don’t

Olly:  air,  chair, stairs, after,  father, plant

11:15 – 12:00

I saw some brilliant mind maps of what you already know about Robins.

Today do some research – watch the video and you will see one of the foods Robins eat.  Can you find 3 others and then draw a picture of all 4 and label them.

Now write a great sentence about the Robin and what he eats.  Use some adjectives like juicy or crunchy!
