 Getting ready for learning: Rex if you are feeling energetic try the video clip on Foxes website.  It looks fun.

Some calmer things to do:  walking on the spot, shoulder shrugs and pressing your hands on a table and on a wall.

RWI reading.  Please let me know if you have trouble finding your e -book online. 

Mrs Clark (Dragonflies) and Mr Stevens  (Foxes)have links to practise RWI speed sounds.  There is one for Rex – set 1 red, green and purple.

Getting ready for maths

R – Top Marks Helicopter Rescue 0 -50

C – practise writing some 3’s facing the right way.  Then count in 3’s to 18. 

      Can you answer these 3 x 1 =     3 x 5 =     3 x 2 =     3 x 3 =      3 x 4 =

O – Count in 3’s, write out your 3 times table and then play Hit the Button 3 times.

Maths: Today we are going to revisit two kinds of lines

  1.  Open the PowerPoint at the bottom of the pade and ask an adult to read it with you.
  2.  Create a picture using only vertical and horizontal lines.

Snack, walk outside, choosing such as Lego or drawing or colouring in.

  1.  Get 6 pieces of paper.

2.   Write each word once on a piece of paper.

3.  Put the papers on a table. 

4.  Ask an adult to say the word and you splat them with your hand.

SC3) I can identify the main character and the setting in the story.

  1.  Today we are going to carry on watching the film clip and answer the questions.  We read the book, ‘Coming Home’ and wrote an amazing group poem about the Robin’s journey before Christmas.
