Seal Church Of England Primary School

Tuesday 12th May 2020

Dear Woodpeckers,

I hope you are all doing really well and have started thinking about what you would like to grow as part of your new challenge. I remember when I was very young, I planted an ice-lolly stick in my garden because I was desperate to grow my own ice-lolly tree!

Today in English, we are starting Jack and the Beanstalk by the Brothers Grimm-there is a copy of the text below, I've also recorded a version read aloud-if you prefer, there is a tutorial for it and a detailed writing checklist-make sure you use the resources provided.

In maths, we are continuing with algebra. Again the resources you need are on this webpage. The timetable is also below.

Remember to send me all your work so I can see how you are doing and provide you with feedback. Fantastic work will be celebrated on our celebration page.

Don't forget to listen to the class book-The House With Chicken Legs-I am really enjoying the story and hope you are too.

Have a lovely day,

Miss Stuart
