SC2: I can understand how tense changes in a script
SC3: I can punctuate my script properly

Today I would like you to turn a part of your favourite book into a script! I would like you to read it, identify where the people are talking, as well as what they are doing when they are talking as this is just as important.

You can also use your check list from yesterday. Or alternatively I have uploaded a checklist of the features to help you. 


Key Information

  • Set the scene. Where are the characters

  • Use the speech for your script

  • Make sure you include what the characters are doing in the present tense.

Task: create a mind map for challenge 8

Please include:

a)      What is the task?

Explain what the task is and the purpose of it.

b)      What do I need to know?

List all the things you will need to know to complete this challenge.

c)       What skills will I use?

List all the skills you will need to be able to complete this challenge.

d)      Questions you have about this challenge.

Include drawings and illustrations too for your mind map.

Remember to consider your layout and presentation-aim high like you do in your learning journals at school.  I will also be doing this challenge too and keep you posted with photographs etc, don’t forget to send me your photographs of you learning your new skills as well as your journal work.

Exercise – e.g. mindfulness yoga, fresh air in the garden, run up and down the stairs seeing if you can get faster every time!
