LO: To show my understanding of writing my work up in neat.

SC1: I can check over my editing.

SC2: I can use my editing to write my poem in neat.

Today we are going to be using our editing to write our poem up in neat!

Please watch the following video which explains how to do this, the steps are broken down underneath:

Acrostic:

1: Check over you editing and make sure you are super happy with the final poem (double check your spellings.)

2: Write out line by line, ensuring that you have all the changes and edits in there. Starting with the first letter big at the side of your page, perhaps in the margin.

3: You can add a border to your poem and make it look presentable in the best and creative way.

Sonnet:

1: Check over you editing and make sure you are super happy with the final poem (double check your spellings.)

2: Write out line by line, ensuring that you have all the changes and edits in there.

3: You can add a border to your poem and make it look presentable in the best and creative way.

A little easier if:

You take learning breaks and work through this slowly, use my video to help and pause at the appropriate places.

A little harder if:

You ensure you have a variety of all of the techniques focused on (alliteration, similes, rhyme)

Reflection:

How have you shown resilience throughout this learning?

What have you learnt from this English experience that you can use in later life?
