WC 22nd February 2021
Must, should, could – must lessons need to be completed, should lessons are a good idea to complete and could lessons are up to you whether you complete.
Sending 1 piece of learning each day – to take pressure away from parents, you are only required to send through 1 piece of learning a day.
Afternoon Federation project – Mrs Mitchell and Miss Fermor have created practical projects that can be completed in the afternoon. You could choose to do 1 of the projects for the whole week or to do 1 daily. The task wheel is a great resource to use to aid your learning, however the way you complete the project is up to you.
Task tutorials – there will be additional task tutorials to take children step-by-step through the tasks they are to complete for English and Maths.
Our daily class call is now at 8:30am and will be held on Microsoft Teams.
Welcome to the first week back after half term! We hope you all had a brilliant break and are ready for new learning! Please see the weekly overview below:
In English this week we are starting something new! We are going to be doing our launch page where we explain about the new experience and outcome. We are going to be learning about spelling rules focusing on prefixes and suffixes this week! We will be providing step by step tutorials for all of the lessons. We will then be putting the amazing work you complete on the celebration page!
In maths this week we are going to be starting division! We are going to be learning what division is and beginning to use place value counters to understand the concept of division. This is starting at the concrete process!
In the afternoons, we will be providing you with challenges that you can choose from. You can choose how many you like and they are fun and practical. We really hope you enjoy doing these challenges and look forward to seeing how you get on with them!
The outline for the challenges is attached below and are also on the daily timetables.
Please watch the video which explains more information below.
