LO: To be able to write persuasively for different purposes. (GROW) SC1: I can identify and use persuasive features of writing. SC2: I can use persuasive features to write for different purposes. SC3: I can write including language which appeals to a varying target audience.
My tutorial will talk you through the steps of the lesson. You can watch it at the start of the lesson and then refer back to it as your progress through the slides.
Task 1- Within the persuasive letter example, identify the features you’ve learnt. There are different levels of challenge for this task.
Task 2 (main task) - Writing. Use my structure and your plan to write the main body of your letter. My tutorial shows you how to include the features needed while writing for the purpose. There are different levels of challenge for this task. Supporting resources (2) - 10.02.2021 Main body structure AND 10.02.2021 sentence openers Task 3- Reflection. How have your persuasively writing skills improved over the course of this experience? Think about the different skills which you are now able to use to write persuasively for different purposes. Maths LO: To be able to know how to find the area For this lesson we are going that little bit further with our understanding of area. Last lesson we looked at calculating the area by counting the squares the shape. However, what would happen if there were no squares inside the shape to use. Have a look at the video to introduce what today's lesson is about.

Experience LO: To be able to know how to plan an investigation Over the next couple of lesson, we are going to run a test of our own. You are going to be designing it. You are going to be building it, and ou are going to be running the test. Today we are looking at soundproofing, I would like you to design your own set of headphones that you could use to wear to a concert or somewhere really loud to protect your ears. Have a look at the video I have uploaded to introduce and help you with this test.
Things to remember
I would like to see the design of your headphones for tomorrow's test. It should be labelled with the material you are using to help you. Have a look at my example below to help you. |
