LO: To understand and effectively use bullet points
Today I would like for you to investigate the uses of bullet points and/or numbered lists. Below I have included links to websites of news that use either of these if you are struggling to find examples.
- Find an article or a magazine which uses bullet points. Write in your journal what you think a bullet point is used for. Give me a definition (this can be from a dictionary).
Using bullet points, tell me everything you know about your favourite subject.

Using bullet points, list what you did yesterday.
- Find an article or a magazine which uses bullet points and italics. Write in your journal what you think a bullet point is used for. Give me a definition (this can be from a dictionary). Write in your journal why you think people use italics. Give me a definition (this can be from a dictionary).
Using a numbered list (1. 2. 3. Etc.), list what you did yesterday in order.
- How is using a numbered list the same as using bullet points?
- Explain to me how you would use italics if you were writing your own newspaper article.

10.30 - 11.00 Break
Do something to get some energy out of the children for example Joe Wicks is releasing a work out video every Monday - Friday. Then spend the last 5 minutes getting them calm again. For example is there something they could tidy or draw or sit and read for 5 minutes. It is important they are calm again.
11.00 - 12.00 - Maths
LO: To be able to find equivalent fractions and decimals.
This is more of a recap lesson, to make sure that we are clear with decimals before we move onto harder problems with decimals and fractions.

I know this is a relatively simple lesson today, but it is something that you should know, and in the future is very handy to understand.

For this session I would like you to choose what you are going to learn, if you haven't already. Today I would like you to think how are you going to achieve this? Can you think about what are the steps you need to be able to do to learn this.
For example if the challenge you set yourself to get really good at was to juggle, then you would need to think about what the steps are to get to how good you want to be.
Step 1 - Can I catch 1 ball, throwing it form one hand to another.
- Can I do it without looking?
Step 2 - To be able to juggle 2 balls but only using one hand.
- Can I do with both hands
Step 3 - To be able to juggle with 3 balls
Step 4 - To be able to juggle with 4 balls in both hands, like 2 balls but with both of your hands.
Please note this is just an example.
