English LO: To be able to know the features needed to write persuasively (KNOW) SC1: I can identify and use powerful imperative verbs. SC2: I can recognise and use alliteration. SC3: I can make language choices which appeal to the target audience. Today, we learn how alliteration and imperative verbs can be used effectively in persuasive writing. We will then use our new knowledge to add more detail to our plan started yesterday. The tutorial for the lesson is below and the PowerPoint will tell you when to watch it.

Maths LO: To be able to show my understanding of division and multiplication For this lesson we are going to be using our multiplication and division skills in a real setting. This is something that you will use and your adults will use during the day. For example, I used a recipe for pizza dough that I have to make larger because the children in my house inhale pizza. Experience LO: To be able to show my understanding of sound For this lesson, we are going to be thinking about the concepts we will be learning about in the next couple of weeks. Our new experience is going to be all about sound. We will explore what sound is and how it behaves though as many science experiments as possible. We will not only be concentrating on the science of sound, but also how to work as scientists and run experiments properly. For now though, I would like you to think about the experience and note down everything that you remember and questions you have about sound and working scientifically. I have included a modelled example below to help you structure your mind map, and what I would like you to include. |
