SC1: I can understand what is meant by 12 hour time
SC2: I can identify the hands of a clock and their role in telling time
SC3: I can understand the difference between analog and digital

For the next set of maths lessons we are going to be focussing on telling the time. For the first lesson of a new concept, we always recap what has previously been learned. For time, this is telling the time to within 5 minutes on an analogue clock. I have uploaded a video to bring in the new concept and uploaded a help sheet for this lesson if it is needed.

I know that some of you can already tell the time, during this I will be putting up some reasoning questions and maths problems for you to solve alongside, after doing chilli challenge 3.

We are continuing on with our class reader in the afternoons. However, this week Mr Cook is going to be reading you the story. I have attached the pdf of the book as well as the link to hear Mr Cook read.

After, I would like you to spend time reading your own book. Do it in your bedroom, in the garden or even in the kitchen sink. So long as you are reading.
