SC1: I can include learnt features in my narrative.

Task 1- Create an example to match each learnt feature.

Task 2(main activity)- Following the guidance on the video, write the ‘build-up’ section of your story. This task includes different levels of challenge.

The pirates agreed to let Lila free because she saved their lives. Explain using pictures and/ or words, how she did this.

Answer the following questions. 

1.     What made Lila realise something was wrong while aboard the river taxi?

2.     How did Lila save the lives of the pirates?

3.      Why was Lila unconvinced that they were real pirates?

Answer the following questions. Use evidence from the text in each response. 

1. Identify two things which made Lila realise there was an issue aboard the river taxi.

2. How did Lila save the lives of the pirates?

3. Find two clues within the text which made Lila doubt how real the pirates were.

4. How was Lila feeling when she continued her journey to Mount Merapi?

For this lesson, I have got something a little different for you to have a go at. Hopefully, you will find this a little fun. It is a mystery that you need to use Maths to solve.
