Year 6- Woodpeckers

Dear Woodpeckers,

I'd like to wish you and your family a very happy Easter holiday. Although it might be different from the half-term holiday you were planning/expecting, I hope you all still manage to have a great one.

I have set some tasks for you to complete during the holidays including continuing with challenge 1, work from Mrs Brocker (our well-being teacher) and writing to a pen pal. For more information please see the 'Easter tasks' folder on the left. As always, any problems or questions, I'm just an email away.

Please don't worry if you are unable to complete all of the tasks or challenges.

Take care of yourselves and each other.

Wishing you all the best of best wishes,

Miss Stuart x

Dear Parent / Carer,

As of Monday 23rd March, I will be updating the class page with a daily timetable and activities, resources and web links.

The Federation learning experience is  '2020 - The Year of Change.'

Please watch the video from Mrs Mitchell and Miss Fermor under the curriculum tab for more details and be thinking about ideas for this exciting experience.

Please note that if you do not complete work at home, I will be contacting you by email. If your child is unwell and unable to complete home learning, please contact me.

If you have any questions, email me at rstuart@seal.kent.sch.uk

Woodpeckers-I am really looking forward to seeing the amazing work you produce. Remember to send me photos of your work and your challenges and I'll post them on here. Don't worry if you are not sure about something, try your best and email me if you get stuck or need help. I'll answer your questions as soon as I can.

Wishing you all the very best.

Miss Stuart

What brilliant work I have received so far, I have uploaded it onto the tab 'Work Woodpeckers have completed at home'-so you can see it. Keep sending it in and show everyone how amazing you are. Also let me know about your aspirational challenge if you haven't told me already. Thank you.

Best wishes,

Miss Stuart

Monday 18:48pm- We have some amazing aspirational skills being set by Woodpeckers, from hockey, to badminton, to singing, to cooking, to improving their writing,  to learning Spanish, to name but a few. I'm really interested to see how you all get on learning and improving on your new skills to become experts in them.

I started my new cooking challenge tonight-cooking a new recipe for me-Leeks and prawns in a cheese sauce, with spaghetti-it's a start!

Take care everyone.
